The Scrolls from the Dead Sea

In 1954, Edmund Wilson visited Israel and Jordan in order to report on the Biblical manuscripts that had been discovered in various Palestinian caves since 1947.  The resulting book, The Scrolls From The Dead Sea, attempts to place the Scrolls in proper physical, historical, and theological context.
